Past, Present, Future

***Pause the present to glance at the past***

That day,

I sobbed my heart out at my desk. I had to make sure that everyone around me didn't know I was crying. He dared not to enter the classroom. He stood at the window and called out my name. On the way home, he asked me what had happened and why I cried.

The reason was my classmates didn't lend me their crayons, and I didn't know anyone because I was the newcomer. That was typical for a country girl who just moved to a new town. I had noone to talk to, and the only thing I did back then was staring at the board and out of the window. Those days, I wished everyday would rain so that I didn't have to go to school. Those days, I hated school.
