I have had bad dreams lately
I haven't had such dreams for like a year
In those dreams, somebody tries to hurt me
for days, I have been haunted by fear.
I've experienced sleep paralysis
At first I had no idea what it is
But it was absolutely scary
It could have killed a girl like me.
Half asleep and half awake, I saw a figure
It was moving with a threatening gesture
I was trying to get up and started moving
but, I could not, instead, I felt it was approaching.
After a brief moment of lying still
I felt the figure slowly disappeared
I started to open my eyes
To my horror, I could see nothing.
