Sometimes I feel I’m like a strip of land
Every time it pours; every time it rains
Every time the wind blows; every time the water flows
A piece of me is being eroded.
Problems are inevitable part of life
You will either be dead or will survive
You need to learn; you need to strive
You gotta be strong and chin up!
When you are unhappy, when you are sad
When you are down, when you feel bad
Whether you laugh, whether you’re mad
Life’s moving on; the clock is ticking.
Every word you say, every word you hear
Every sound you make, every step you take
Everything you touch, every belief you have
Someone is watching over you.
Believe me or not, I don’t know what I’m talking about
Neither do I have intention to find out
I write this for pleasure when the light is off
And guess what, I’m heavily sweating!
