This Evening

I do not have the best of everything
I do not demand the best of something
I do not want a ring of gold
My ‘want’ is simply a hand to hold.

I may not live to a hundred years
I will one day, for sure, disappear
From this whole world, from this whole crowd
But, I will do somebody proud.

I had a blast this evening
That’s what we ‘need’ as human being
A little of chit chat, a little of laughter
Of course, a little gossip about our lecturers.

We talked about many things
Some of them were rather dirty
Yet, we found them terribly funny
Well, all in all, it was ‘Not bad’. *hahaha*

Today, dirty jokes become mainstream
They may be dirty or funny as they seem
They are just a part of life, maybe
After all, they somehow make you happy.

That was happiness
The one thing that man should possess
It’s not money, nor fame, nor academic success
It was laughter that we have on our faces.
