Sometimes

Sometimes people see those stars
They don’t feel they are that far
Yet they feel distant away from people in front of their face
The middle of the crowd sometimes is the loneliest place.

Sometimes keeping quiet is the best choice
Or you will never hear the talker’s voice
Sometimes the feeling of having fun is not real
Driving home alone with the terrible loneliness is just how you feel.

Sometimes late at night I don’t know what to do
Lying back, thinking about what I’ve gone through
The worst of yesterday will bring the best of tomorrow
But I wonder if the temporary elation would hide yesterday’s immense sorrow.

Sometimes a warm hug is badly needed
A friend, a stranger, an acquaintance, or that “who”
With who can make you feel motivated
But none of them you feel like talking to.
